Alongside the “Sidemen”, Vikkstar123 is one of the most recognisable creators on YouTube today.

On his own YouTube channels, he has a massive combined following of over 11 Million subscribers and his content has been viewed over 3 Billion times.

At the time of this interview, Vik had gathered momentum on his channel, but also had an offer to study Natural Sciences at UCL – having studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at A-Level.

He decided to go on a gap year to work on his YouTube channel full-time, explore other opportunities, and make a decision within a year.

I had also finished my A-Levels, and we spoke about the possibility of him accepting his offer to study at UCL, and whether or not he should continue with his YouTube channel at the end of his gap year.

Within a few months, the Sidemen had formed, and the rest is history!
